I mean every year it’s the same thing with the roller coaster lines and rude faculty members. That place is just pure mayhem. The rapper and actor T.I. visited Woodland middle school in order to promote achievement and success, as part of his community service last month. Some of the parents were not so ecstatic about his surprise visit, one in particualr, Mr. Tom Meyers. When his teenage daughter came home and told him about the unexpected visit from T.I. he became unhappy and decided to write a letter to the principal and thisis what he wrote…
The first e-mail I sent to him was to ask that from now on we have some kind of parental input whether or not a speaker is appropriate. If I don’t want my child to be there, just give me the right to opt them out,” Myers said.
Myers also wrote in the e-mail, “How about next time, let him mow the grass or pick up the trash around the school grounds? If the kids see that they might understand that what he did was wrong.”
Wow!!! Is what I thought when I saw what Meyers had to say about the situation. Principal Oatts made a very valid point in his response and this is what he had to say…
“I thought about asking a guy who snorted cocaine and got arrested for DUI when he was 30 to come and speak to our kids, but President George W. Bush was not available.
Oatts went on to write in the exchanges with Myers that even the president made mistakes when he was young, and that T.I.’s messages to the students was ‘to take their education seriously, put forth their best effort, pursue their dreams and not engage in bullying.”
Rihanna will be touring this summer and she has just announced that Keyshia Cole and Nicki Minaj will be on the tour with her. The purpose of the tour is to promote her latest album Rated R. This tour will be the talk of the summer, every woman should definitely purchase tickets for this event because these ladies are definitely going to rock the house. “Last Girl on Earth” which is the name of the tour, will kick off on July 2nd in Seattle. Do not be the “Only Girl on Earth” who is not there!

The two R&B singers and siblings Brandy and Ray-J has produced their first reality television show together which is called “A Family Business”. They previously worked together on the television show called Moesha, in which Brandy played the lead role.

In their new 11, one-hour episode series, both Brandy and Ray J will expand their roles in the family business. Brandy will step back into the music scene and team up with famous producer Timbaland for a new album all the while raising her seven year-old daughter Sy’rai. We’ll also see Ray J stepping out of his notorious bad boy image and collaborating with Rodney Jerkins and other popular R&B heavyweights. Father, Willie will continue to sing and coach his famous children while being the original voice of reason. And the matriarch of the family, Sonja, will strive to keep her famous family on the right track, while passing the family business down to her two superstar children.
Despite their success and celebrity status, the Norwoods’ are a typical American family who stick together.
Singer Beyonce and Rapper Jay_Z celebrates the 2nd anniversary. The couple has been together for two years now and they are very successful but rumor has it they still have a lot more they want to accomplish and that is why they have decided to wait to have children. They celebrated their day over a dinner at Nello’s Restaurant in New York and than went to see Michelle Williams on Broadway in the musical Chicago. The couple is very secretive about their relationship that is why they got married secretly on April 4, 2008; but it seems as if they are becoming more open with with their relationship.
In an earlier post I stated that Matthew Knowles was being accused of birthing a son with Alexsandra Wright and the dna test proves that this is true. Beyonce has a baby brother!
Wright filed a paternity suit last October against Knowles who was temporarily ordered to pay $8,200 in monthly child support.
Wright claims she had an 18 month affair with Knowles.
